Careers

Administrative:
  • Manage physical day to day functioning of the gallery - exhibition, storage and office spaces, overseeing appearance and general condition of the gallery, stock and necessary supplies
  • Mange Front desk - greeting visitors, clients who walk in, explaining the artwork to people who come for viewing or walk in
  • Client viewing at the gallery: Greet the client, ensure the necessary private views artist wise are ready on the I pad, coordinate with Logistics team to pull out the necessary artworks for physical viewing
  • Selling Sublime house of tea and art books to all clients who walk-in to the gallery
  • Identify potential clients who are looking at ground floor and second floor Sublime art wall and convince them to visit 8th floor gallery
  • Handling the tea stock at various display units including the gallery Also learn SAP for billing of tea and art both
  • All daily reports to be up to date
  Gallery Management
  • Assist all artwork movement in coordination with Gallery manager and logistics team
  • Handle all press for the exhibition in case of Gallery manager’s absence
  • Organise all photography and documentation of the show
  • Create and send out Exhibition PDF to all clients
  • Make phone calls to art collectors about the new exhibition
  • Oversight and Execution of all logistics for opening like tenting, catering, serving tea
  • Coordinate with Gallery manager for all additional requirements of the artist for the opening like brochures, artist profile, name tags, framing
  • Assist Gallery Manager for the binder for the exhibition which includes - Opening Press Release, Artist bio & CV, price lists
  • Handling the billing machine in absence of Gallery manager
  Website & Marketing
  • Gallery Website Maintenance - making sure everything is updated and information is correct. Work with IT and  Maintain data of all artists and collector’s
  Art Fair Management
  • Taking care of the entire gallery in absence of gallery manager
  • Assist the gallery manager in artwork handling, volunteer committees, billing desks, consignment sheets, preparing MOU’s for Art Bengaluru
  Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree is must
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High level of enthusiasm, energy, flexibility and responsibility
  • Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills with demonstrated ease in working with all levels of professionals in an organization
  • Interest in learning about art and design is an added advantage (not necessary)
  • Require good administrative skills
