Ria Aboobakar
As an impressionistic painter, I strive to capture the essence of a moment rather than its exact representation. My name is Ria and I have been painting for over a decade now. I am a self taught Artist poet and writer, & an HR professional currently residing in India .I draw inspiration from nature, landscapes, and everyday life. My paintings are characterized by their loose brushstrokes, vibrant colors, and the play of light and shadow.
I work towards that art should evoke emotions and feelings in the viewer. My paintings are not just about what you see but also about what you feel. I want my viewers to be transported to the scene depicted in my paintings and experience it for themselves.
Cause and effect : I realized that my paintings bring a lot of joy . When the cause is so beautiful the effect it creates is amazing. Thats the purpose of art to spread joy. Every single painting has one or the other of 4 elements air , water, fire , earth i bring them together and create a dance & symphony of colors.
I believe breaking the glass ceiling. And I try to do that with my art.
I like being an anomaly. It means away from the normal and that’s how my art is its different. Its a combination of a lot of different things, a mix and blend of all art combinations.
My paintings have been described as dreamy, ethereal, realistic and poetic. I am constantly experimenting with new techniques and styles to push the boundaries of impressionism.
My family has been my strongest motivation factor, my backbone, my cheerleaders and my support system. Who have pushed me to be the kind of artist I am today.
