Kami & Pardeep Verma
Art is a conversation with oneself. Its is hard to piece the puzzle of the world together. It is a talk between all the senses and whatever else is used to function through the days on Earth. Art is also a language used to communicate without the barriers od modernity. It isn't easy being the renegades of a society. But necessary.
Kami (the ghost of art), as the legend goes is the “Golden Boy” banished from the kingdom of clouds. He now roams the earth, creating, questioning, understanding and living the life of an exiled artist out of necessity. It is heard that the soul’s of a 100 great artists reside within him.
An eccentric spirit whose language of communication is art. Kami’s work represents the truth that is lost in the sea of information. Detailing on concepts of infinity, mathematics, abstraction, plasticism, minimalism and society.
He paints what he wants, he paints on what he wants, He raises questions that you are too afraid to ask and answer.
Pardeep Verma is an artist based out of Le Corbusier’s city, Chandigarh, in India. And is an artist unlike any another. He has invented his own style, with years of experimentation, abandoning all previous traditional techniques. He creates them at the speed of light, but with perfect precision, dedication, control and years of experience. He coins the term “Mindscapes” to depict these interesting abstractions of mind, landscapes, colors & something really out of this world. An amalgamation and perfect representation of something extraordinary.
Being from the sports background the arts had always interested him, but sources were hard to come by. Once he had time on his hand, he picked up the paints & has never stopped since. Nearly a decade of dedicated experimentation has led to these creations, something beyond the forms we encounter in real life. Inspired by abstract artists from all over the world. He finds grace and beauty in it all.
