Concept Note

As the great photographer and environmentalist, Ansel Adams once said, “Photography is more than a medium for factual communication of ideas. It is a creative art”. will take you on a visual journey of envisioning wildlife photography as works of art – where colors captivate and movement is frozen in time. Through this exhibition of 35 curated photographs taken across India, Africa, and the Americas, MN Jayakumar highlights unique aspects of animal behavior. His photographs beautifully blend light and shadow to capture raw emotion and intimate moments. With global warming and climate change having a severe impact on our planet’s biodiversity, MN Jayakumar also hopes that these photographs serve as a stark reminder of what we are at risk of losing forever, if we do not act now. The exhibition consists of 35 works of art featuring 24 photos of mammals and 11 photos of birds.
