In “Serenity”, I examine the most enigmatic and paradoxical object known as water and further emphasize its silent importance in our daily activities. I think of water as both turbulent and still, restless yet calm, shapeless but permanent in a way, and this is how I want to convey my experiences with water, through art. It is important for me to bring out the different characteristics of water be it in the calm of the sea or the roar of waves, crashing on the shore, a serene lake or a flowing waterfall. Each one functions as an opportunity to relax from the incessant hustle and bustle of busy life and bring out the calmness inside us that is usually buried underneath our anxiousness, reminding one of the stillness that is found within the endless movements of the water. “Serenity” is not only a series of artworks, its the way of travel through the moods of ‘the endless beauty of water’. I wish everyone manages to see and feel themselves in these abstract representations of the water and find their warm retreat and their inner peace.
